Hořice v Podkrkonoší

The town of Hořice lies 100 km to the north east of Prague, 25 km to the north of Hradec Králové, in a hilly and woody landscape. Hořice with its clean and beautiful enviroment enriched by numerous sights offers uncountable variety of leisure activities, such as walking, cycling and sightseeing. „The town of stone beauty“ has been well known by its sandstone whose exploitation has a big tradition here, which demonstrates a number of sculptures placed in the town. At the hill Gothard a visitor will find a natural sculpture museum, where modern sculptors present their work. Other tradition is a popular international motor race „300 curves of Gustav Havel“.
